Compensation & IncentivesHourly Pay (Transparent & Skill-Based)
- $32-$36/hour – Experienced Tree Worker / Climber
- $38-$42/hour – Experienced + Class A CDL
- $43-$46/hour – Experienced + Class A CDL + Arborist Certification
OR any 2 of the following 3:
- Experience
- Class A CDL
- Arborist Certification
Additional Earnings
- Time-and-a-half over 40 hours
- Year-End Profit Sharing — when the company performs well, the team shares in the success
Schedule & Work-Life Balance
- 4-Day Work Week
- No weekend work (unless you want extra hours)
- Summer: 40 hours per week
- Winter: Hours will vary depending on weather

Primary Responsibilities
- Perform tree climbing using rope & saddle (DRT & SRT), ladders, or bucket trucks
- Safely trim and remove trees using proper rigging and lowering techniques
- Operate chainsaws and arborist equipment
- Work efficiently both aloft and on the ground
- Inspect equipment daily and report hazards
- Maintain clean, safe, and professional job sites
- Follow work orders and safety protocols
- Represent Iron & Oak Tree Company professionally
Required Qualifications
- Ability to lift 75 lbs to shoulder height
- Ability to climb 40+ feet
- Comfortable working at heights
- Valid driver’s license
- Strong work ethic and punctuality
- Ability to pass pre-employment and random drug screenings
- MUST BE ISA CERTIFIED
- 1+ year rope & saddle climbing experience (DRT & SRT)
- Arborist Certification
- Class A CDL (or ability to obtain — assistance provided)
- Pesticide Applicator License (Category A, E)
- Mechanical aptitude
- Bilingual (Spanish/English)
- Background in landscaping, construction, roofing, utility work, or military service

The Opportunity
We’re hiring a Sales Arborist to run estimates, close jobs, and build long-term client relationships.
You’ll be the face of the company, educating homeowners, spotting risks, and turning opportunities into revenue.
No cap. No micromanaging. Just results.
We pass you leads and you will be required to build your own book of business as well.
What You’ll Do
- Run tree care estimates (removals, trimming, storm damage, plant health care, stump grinding)
- Identify hazards and educate homeowners (this is where you win deals)
- Close jobs on-site and follow up on leads
- Build relationships for repeat + referral business
- Generate your own leads (and get rewarded for it)
- Work directly with operations to ensure smooth job execution
Pay Structure
Commission-Based (High %) Residual Income on Repeat Clients Bonuses for Self-Generated Jobs
